Matter for IT Monitor with Security

Matter is initialized by CSA (Connectivity Standards Alliance) with its members including Amazon, Apple, Google,…. etc. for connecting compatible devices and systems with one another. This standard is a new approach to create a rapid, transformative impact on the market. The Matter standard versions has been experienced from 1.0 (2022.10.4), 1.1 (2023.5.18) and 1.2 (2023.10.23) to cover many sorts of devices or appliances. The standard is based on Internet Protocol (IP) but runs locally and does not rely on an internet connection, although the standard is designed to talk to the cloud easily. It is intended to enable cross-platform smart home devices, mobile apps, and cloud services, and defines a specific set of IP-based networking technologies for device certification.
