Overview

The NCT3720S is a high performance positive voltage regulator designed for use in applications requiring very low input voltage and very low dropout voltage. The device operates with VIN as low as 1V and output voltage programmable to low as 0.8V. The NCT3720S has a dropout voltage of 150mV@ 2A. An enable pin provides additional power reduction while in shutdown. The NCT3720S provides excellent line and load regulation over temperature and provides a Power Good signal when the output voltage reaches 90% of its rating value.
